what rims will you use?

pretty sure it's possible to bolt in cressida struts or xt130 corona struts then using the cressida hub, will ask my mate who's done it

Yeah, rim selection in 14/15's, in 5 stud, in cool sizes and cool styles is super limited. Stay 4 stud.

idealy what you want is the xt130 strut with ms65 crown front hubs. they bolt on because they share the smae bearings as xt130 hubs.

thats the setup im making anyway.

I've fully converted to 5 stud using xt130 struts and ms63 hubs same as ms65. Rim selection for jap wheels suck but I prefer to run cheap 12 slots with crazy dish, gtr and s15 wheels are cheap also. I recommend the hilux/pug/corona upgrade it's overkill but pulls up my turbo hachi with eas

i can sell you a full brake upgrade 302mm disks (500km's old) with hubs and adapter plates for rx7 4pots, to suit ae86 struts in 5 x 114.3 (same as your hilux rear).
can do you a pretty good price also.
pm me.

What rims do you have in mind for your 5 stud combo the rx7 calipers and 303mm rotors would mean u need 15"+ I think, just something to think about

Ive gone down this path before. Hilux rear with MA70 rear discs, then on the front you can use MA61 struts, RA60/65 struts or the well publicised XT130 strut, then use an MS65 hub, if you can find them. The MS65 hub uses a bigger stub axle than the AE86, thats why you need the different struts.I have used the MA70 front discs and calipers, with a caliper adapter. Any Falcon EL/EF wheel combo will fit easy with correct offsets. Just a word of warning, when using an MA61 strut on one of my conversions, I had trouble using an aftermarket strut insert for an AE86, as it appeared the strut was slightly smaller, and the insert jammed around the areas where the spot welds were. A die grinder fitted with a grinding wheel on an extension eventually fixed this problem.
Another 5 stud option is to go to Hoppers stoppers, and they can make any hub to suit the AE86 strut, 4 or 5 stud, to suit falcon BA discs and calipers. The great thing about this option is it is easily engineered.
After 3 hilux diff conversions, I think the F series diff option is a much better proposition, keep 4 studs, LSDs easy, much lighter than G series, then use a hoppers stoppers brake upgrade or any of the Ksport etc front brake upgrade.
