Corona w/ Lemon
13th June 2010, 09:37 PM
Toyota Corona CSi 1984 RT142
250,000kms
Was 5 speed
4 cylinder 2.4l 22RE
rego till 30/7/2010
pros:
- 2.4l 22RE engine. strong and reliable. I suspect a rebuild at some stage but can not prove. Runs alot smoother than my other 22RE.
- recently serviced.
- no rust or very close to none, has been partially resprayed at some stage of its life.
- straight body, minor damage to bottom front left-hand guard.
- decent tread.
- interior is in pretty good condition, no rips or tears in seats, etc. roof lining perfect.
- towbar
- has the extra driving lights
cons:
- interior is currently stripped but all there (can leave as is or i can re-fit everything for extra $$$).
- heater not connected or working.
- gearbox not currently installed but a 4 speed auto will be supplied (can install a for extra $$$).
- diff noisy and leaking.
I bought this car for the manual gearbox and related parts for my current Corona. I have started the manual conversion and i should be finished tomorrow with a bit of luck.
This car is in pieces as described above but can be put back together quite easily. Im willing to sell this car as a rolling shell for wrecking or parts, etc for a pretty cheap price or i can but it all back together as a running, reliable daily for a higher price.
Come grab a bargain drift/ track project.
Asking $400 as is, where is (wreckers will pay $250 just for the rolling shell) or i can put it all back together as a running daily with rego for $900.
Maybe willing to part out but be quick as if i get no interest then ill start putting it back together.
Fell free to ask any questions as im sure ive missed things out.
