Car - ae86
Cluster - zenki JDM...same shit as ADM overall but redline starts at 7500k
engine - 20v ST
ECU - microLeb LT10

issue - rev does not work on the cluster
started - car was striped down and put back together
personal situation - where to start checking?..i need this to work as i want BLUESLIP ASAP to rego the bastard

Comments:
everything is working ok, speed works on the cluster, Revs doesnt
what makes the Rev work on the cluster is what i need to know so i can check it..
i know with the microtech you have to change some resistors and compasitor? on the rev circuit board, i have done so to my knowledge but still nothing...

is there a wire from the micotech ECU that should be wired to the cluster aswell?..

please help as need this shit to work ASAP

does it just have a regular coil or is it cp/COP? if regular there should be a wire that connects to the neg side of the coil. For coil packs the signal is usually referenced from the ecu. Seeing as toyota's are fairly unique in their tacho design (to neg coil) most aftermarket ecus require a 'tacho booster' which is simply a tricked up relay coil to amplify the signal from the ecu. From memory though you should be able to run the tacho right from the microtech without mods (my LTX10 did anyways)

so i checked yesterday, tacho output wire from ECU is connected... i have a feeling this is going to cost me to get a professional to come out and fix this..

What ignitor are you running on the Microtech?
If its the Toyota 20v ignitor, run the black wire from the ignitor - wire #4 to the tacho and it should work.
This is how I wired up my friends MTx 8 in an AE82 with 20v and it worked fine.
