4k rev question

just wondering i just bought a ke70 and this may be a silly question but do they have a limiter and also what should i set the shift light on, eg weres it safe to rev to

4k sounds hideous when it valve bounces! But yeh mine starts to valve bounce at 6200rpm

i heard that 4k's make the most power when valve bouncing ;)

my old 4k struggled to get anywhere near 6k, anything after 4500 it just made a terrible noise and didnt go any faster.

if you wont one make one

get a ricer tacho with a shift light, put a closed relay between you coil main power, and use the shift lite power as the tricker for the relay to open, so you set your ricer tacho to 6 grand, so when it hits 6 grand the power is cut to the coil and the revs drop, tacho drops light goes out relay closes, coil gets power and bam until you hit 6 grand again

^^^^ I have exactly what KE slider is talking about on my car (4k kesev), works a treat, free adjustable rev limiter for a carby car.

Need to get a vid up of how it sounds too, a hole in the exhaust and when it bounces off the limiter people around get SO confused.

yeah i find with my 4k after about the 4500rmp mark you start losing speed :P but someone broke into my car and stole my 3 doller tacho... (dam kids!) so now its done by feel.
