Also on the damage thing, I think damage in GAMES is crap! lets put it into perspective, so you want it realistic do you?

Take your REAL car out to a track and run it against the wall or slide the front end into a wall on corner exit and see what happens, I'd guess thats the end of your day, so by damage in a game I guess what you guys want is to hit walls, other cars etc and that's the end of that race and you have to start again????? It's a game, no damage please.

i play forza 3 almost every day, its epic in comparison to gt5 prologue

Prologue was terrible, no question about it.

But, I am confident that in the 2-3 years between the release of Prologue and now, that they will have made it better. I agree Forza 3 is a good game, but I think that GT5 will be epic after seeing these trailers. I hope anyway :P

only thing in it for me is I have chipped my 360 and have unlimited basically free games
while ps3 i would have to buy games.

im a fan of the gt series, set world records for a few tracks in 1 2 and 3, dont know if they still stand but they did 2 or so years ago.

im against wasting money, not against good products at all.

also when i say they lost me years ago i mean gran turismo, i remember waiting like a 5 year old for christmas for gt4 and when i finally got my grubby hands on my pre order i was really disappointed, even after i basically finished it all i still felt the physics were kinda ghey.

played gt5 prologue and once you get past the oooh wow kool grafiks you realise the gameplay is kinda ghey.

just over the hype and shit associated with stuff, buy stuff when im good and ready.

the thing i realised with gran turismo 5 was its so realalistic it ends up unrealalistic.
you really need a good steering wheel to get the best out of it. because i beat no one could drive their own car with a wimpy little hand controller. think of all that throttle control you do in your car and the fine steering adjustments you make in real lift. they cant really replicate that with a button thats either full lock or dead straight of full throttle or nothing. same goes for the sticks of joy they have 10mm of travel much less the 3.5 turns of the steering wheel
there's also a delay in steering for the contoller the help the above. if you hit a diraction it wont hit full lock till about 2 seconds after. thats what makes drifting so hard an almost impossable with a controller

i just bought my mates ps3, i cant see many good games to play.....besides GT5....though i also got it for the blue ray player, and you can do funky things with playing media off your pc through the network.

and for the record i also got an xbox 360 purely to play forza 3, such a fun game.

ive got a few other xbox games but most are pretty crap, GTA4 and call of duty are so annoying to play on xbox, give me a keyboard/mouse any day.

its been so long the hype will be overestimated by everyone just cause they been waiting a longer period of time for production, same happened to forza 3 all it is really is slightly better graphics and fm1&2 put into one game, only good thing is DLC content and gt5 will prob be the same story over again

Yeah I know, played it for like a week straight when my house mate had it. Doing that touge track thingo was pretty cool, but I just want something like that in GT5, unlike the last ones which have been pretty basic to nothing at all being able to be changed for a cars physical look, apart from wheels and ride height etc.
