For sale: Set of 4 rims from MA61 Toyota Supra, Tyres not for sale.

Item Description: Size is 14X7 +8 offset

Item Condition: These wheels were unpleasant to look at when I got them, as with most original 80's toyota rims the clear coat was cracking off and "yellowing". i have sanded all of it off and polished the metal to a very nice shine, as well as painting the inserts black. Have all centrecaps and possibly a spare set of mag nuts in the shed too.

Location: Melbourne, northern suburbs

Asking Price: $500

Only selling to fund new wheels, will have tyres removed once deposit is taken and I will freshly re-polish the rims for the buyer when picked up. Buyer will also have the option to purchase an extra pair of same rims to use as skidders for a slightly lower price as they're not polished.

Offset is +8 as per all MA61 wheels. Fill the guards pretty well for factory standard rims.

Hi, see PM for my offer.

It does have a "-" sign yes, then the character "8" but the "-" is only seperating the information. Offset is 8, but positive. Confusing much?

If you measure it you will find it's +8

It will cost a mint to send them via Aus Post. Better to go with Trans Direst or E-go, Any courier will work but those are my favoured two. Good luck. :)

Photo of one of the wheels, set is now removed from the car. Just cleaned it up a little with California Purple polish, will re-buff properly on the drill once tyres are off. My new wheels will be arriving at the beginning of next week so I will get the tyres off the MA's and on to the new wheels. Once these are bare (most likely wednesday arvo) they're available for pick-up or postage from then onward. To those interested who have PM'd me on either here or other forums, my number is 0422 72 78 71. First to call and arrange funds to me will be the new owner.

Cheers bud, if you want to do yours, to be able to polish them you have to get all the clear coat off first. C**t of a job. Once the clear coat is off and you go down through all the grits of wet and dry to remove the scratches and factory machining lines you can polish away. Well worth the effort.

Keeping all 6 now, sorry. They're going on my AE71 for now. Glad I didn't sell them as the people trying to lowball obviously had no understanding of the time and effort involved in restoring wheels with 20+ year old clear coat.
