View Full Version : bt 20v is cutting out when i turn right????????

hey guys only realised this problem this mornibg if im in a straight line and give it some berrys its absoulutly fine all the way to red line. if i turn full lock left and sit in second its fine as well but if i go full lock right its as if the motor dies then comes back to life then dies and comes back to life cause it to roo hop. ive checked battery and is secure, checked coils they are fine. i did do a comp test two days ago mybe i didnt push a plug lead on the 20v properly and it dosent make good contact turning right?????? any ideas guys

could be starving the engine of fuel, does it change if the car is full of petrol

hahahahaha i just found the problem no fuel my sender must be gone it says half a tank but she is quiet empty she took on 38liters. but im happy she only the fuel gauage or sender ill get it fixed this weekend cheers guys

when it "cuts out" does it do it somehwat softly and then lurges a bit before taking off again?

i had this happen to a customers car at my workshop once. vs commodore cuts out whne turning left. turned out the water pump was leaking (which is why it was in) and managed to get a little water into the crank angle sensor plug which would bridge out everytime you turned left. spent days trying to figure it out
