Nope car hasn't been on the rollers yet, goes extremly well tho, slides 3rd in the dry and pulls hard to redline.
I could give a guess at the fly figure but what's that point in that :)

i'm open to swaps. got an rx7 s4 with s5 motor and more stuff

ae71toy16v
19th August 2010, 06:22 PM
don't think it needs 2 be engineered as it originally had a 4ac in it and it was a straight bolt in conversion( correct me if i am wrong). will consider swaps............show me what you got!!!!(would prefer the money though):DD

MR86ER

is your car registered?

matt99
19th August 2010, 07:44 PM
Should not need to be engineered as the engine capacity has not increased and no custom engine mounts/etc. are required.

Hi Costa.

Hokey
19th August 2010, 07:56 PM
technicallyt it needs to be engineered as it is a power increase of 25% or more. howver no one will ever pick you for it and you could easily talk your way out of it.

fwiw i've registered a ke70 (not ae71) at vicroads with a 4age in it.

extremely hot car and well worth the price

With the fresh engine and the Dellorto's, I'm surprised that nobody has bought it yet.

Finally somebody who uploads a decent amount of photos of the car they are selling. Looks clean.

Good luck with the sale!

whats needed for roadworthy?

ae71toy16v
1st September 2010, 06:53 PM
raise ride height, wheels and tires, and i guess whatever else your mechanic picks on......
look I've been pulled over a couple of times and all they have complained about is tires protruding guards, ride height and not having any clutch or brake pedal rubbers. so its kinda hard to say what else would be needed 4 a roady......

ae71toy16v
3rd September 2010, 08:39 PM
car may be sold pending payment......

really is a perfect ke.

is there some way to see the revs? or do you shift by feel

ae71toy16v
4th September 2010, 01:41 PM
its all about the noise and feel my friend..... you feel the power start to drop slightly after approx. 7700 rpm and that is how you know its time for the next fun filled gear.......but if you hesitate there's always limiter set currentley at 8000 rpm to save her!
