Window Winder thingo

Hey all, jsut wondering how to take off the door handle thingo as i need to get the door card out on the driver side to fix door opener.

small horse shoe clip on the shaft. some people swear by a piece of string wrapped around the back of it to pop out the clip, but i've always used a small flat head screw driver

yep, got the card off, and found the problem.

the green is some sort of clip, it can move up and down and move around in a groove in there.
yellow is the direction it moves in to open door.
red is where i think its broken off.

is there a way to fix this? apar from take it all apart, fix the clip thingo, put all back together?

its got nothing to do with my window winder, at first it did, but i needed that info to get to door mechanism.

I can see your problem. It maybe best to buy another lock assembly second hand.
