The regular TRD lips have a smaller profile where as the N2 TRD has a larger profile i.e the N2 lips are fatter in size than the regular TRD lips. Like so:

N2 lip on my car:

The commonly referred to "TRD lip" is basically the OEM body kit made by Toyata consisting of front lip, side skirts and rear mount spoiler/wing. These are made of durable PU.
The N2 kit was made by TRD for the N2 racing class in the mid 80's and consists of wide boxed flares for wheel arches, wider lower front lip with brake ducts (as pictured above) that fits flush with flares, the TRD "ducktail" wing and a FRP bonnet in OEM profile. The N2 kit were made of FRP and although still available from TRD on special order are mad expensive! there are many reproductions out there for a fraction of the price.
