only runs 9s.
i like how the smoke was shooting through the hole for the handbrake lever when he was doing a burnout

Thats pretty cool.
I would have thought it would go quicker than 9's with that sort of a setup.
Traction didn't seem to be a problem...

you should see the option ae86 special edition. they are driving along and come up next to an ae86 coupe, they asking him to pull over adn he does......pop the bonnet and there is a mad 2j conversion with huge single.
in the boot the guy has bolted a big piece of railway track to the floor to help traction in the rear.
if that drag car had a proper gearbox, his ET would be so much better. time for an auto methinks

prety cool, though I'd estimate that car is only making 400kw or so, There was a rigoli r32 with a 7mgte with 450hp atw, in full street trim, it ran a 9.50 not with that mph but that's not 1000bhp

this thing is pretty intense, would be good to have a drive.

7th February 2009, 12:47 PM
Would have to have around 700hp with that turbo 450hp is only 330kw an rebuilt 2j like that would make that on 5psi

with a to4z cams and a good tune you can expect around 450-480kw atw. We finished one at work not long ago with a similar set up we saw 474kw.
EDIT: Forgot to add that, with that power, and a car in the weight range of 900-1100kg you should see a low 9, if not a high 8 with a sorted car (suspension, ratio, and tune)
