Just making innuendo...

Anyway, NS3400 are the longer ones 77/78mm above, NS340 are 44mm rather than stock which is 29mm.
The other good one are the ARP studs with the non-threaded nose at the front :)

Quick start!!!

Takai, are those measurements total stud lengths or threaded sections?

I've got the ns3400 on the front at the moment and probably have a spare set somewhere too.

what do you want to run longer studs for?

only real reason you should have them is if your wheels are of a design where you need extra length, or you want to run slip on spacers and hold your wheels on by more than 2 threads.

cons: takes FOREVER to take your wheels off (if you dont have a rattle gun) you will spend all day un winding the nuts! and also you have to run the "nut" style wheel nuts, as oposed to the nice shiny nuts, as the studd is so long it needs to pass through the wheel nut, which you cant do on the nice shiny wheel nuts.

i have ns4000 on the rear of my car, i had some wheels that required them, and i had some 10mm spacers on the rear at some stage, give me 8 standard studds and ill swap ya;)

i use em pros: can run my good offsett wheels at the track aswell as my shit offsett ones with a 30mm slip on spacer so tire changes are quick and also space out all the odd ofsett sizes with smaler spacers. takes ages to do and undo nuts without a rattle gun which i dont have, pros outweigh the cons for me

i have a snap on cordless rattle gun so i see no cons ;)

Eddie, use a cordless drill with 1/2" adaptor and deep socket to wind the nuts on and use torque wrench/breaker bar to tighten. Not as cool as cordless rattle gun but so much quicker than sittin there spinning a wheel brace.
