Hi Guys.

Thinking about going a set of Otomoto wheels in 14x9 -16 on my KE70. guard clearance isnt an issue as ive got flared fronts and rears we'll do what we need to to fit them.

Just wondering if anyone else has gone this sort of offset and have pics of how it looks. im going to use the current tyres 185/65 (i know 60 would be better but its what ive got). im going to mod the lca for more camber also.(currently running 14x6 +10 lol)

cheers

+1 on both comments just wont look well, go for a respectable wheel size, 13x8 0 and 13x8.5 closest to zero would be fairly ideal

think he means tyre size wise.

well im running the 185/65s atm on 6" rims. so id say it will be lower due to the stretch. i realise what its going to look like. ive seen 185's stretched on a 9"

we seemed to make your wheels fit well on the rear of your sprinter ;)

If anyone can point me in the direction of some cheap good offset wheels in a zero or neg then be my guest...

This would be xris from Primal Garage.

Stolen from NS.com:

A ) im not made of money these are going to cost me around $600 - the selling of my current wheels thats around $200 for new wheels...
B ) ITS A KE70 WHO GIVES A f**k...these wheels are going to cost me as much as the car did  we'll make them fit and they'll look as good as they can..65 profile is what im running on these 6" rims atm so im just going to use what i have and stretch them on.

Find me some jap rims in good offset at a cheap price and i'll go them any day of the week over these...remember this isnt my "good car" lol...

I know it isn't your good car. I do rate your 180, especially with the new wheels.

Just sayin' as someone who has dealt with alot of KE70s. While you might get the wheels to "fit" they will look horrible, you might die and they won't "fit"

Would rather buy Sportmaxxxxxx and I f**king dispise Sportmax. At least they're a more realistic size (8J +/-0) and aren't quite as ugly to look at.

Note: 14x7J +/-0 with 185/60 is a good fit for stock guards. You can find wheels in this sizing pretty easily for a little over $600

15X8 sportmax are around $600 delivered anyway so they're a much better option.

ahahaha all this hate. got to remember this car is a bucket of shit KE70. sorry to offend but its a bunky 28 year old toyota lol....guards are flared so im going to fit something in there that will fill them. im not looking for approval from you lot so you can keep your negative comments to yourselves.

The otomoto wheels just look like a larger version of the ma70 supra wheels so im not that worried about looks. ive got my 180 for that..

^ Ycuk at both ideas.

Because the wheels are so wide, you will have issues with making it go low, unless you guards are REALLY worked.

your 180 is sex ha.

i dont know what the deal is with everyone wanting to run bullllshit wide wheels on ke70's.. wank factor maybe?

i had 13x8 -6 on my ke70 at 40mm (still had lots of room for more low.)

i reckon 8's look hot on ke's. keep stock rolled gaurds.

KE70xris

Im sort of limited as the front guards are massively pumped atm. so i need something wide to fill them as atm they look rather shithouse. 14x6 +10

I dont mind sticking to 8" wide wheels just need something to fill the guards out....

set of ma61's is $400
get longer LCA's and maybe some spacers if you're that concerned about filling guards.

im not that worried about looks. ive got my 180 for that..

Why not just find some cheap 14x6.5/7 Japanese wheels then. Wheels don't have to be outside the guards.

This.

More-so recently, some people have been trying real hard to be different/cool and completely missing the mark.

you can get hurricanes in melbourne, i will just have to send them to you...

I think 9 with -16 offset is too wide.

If you want cheap wheels just get ma61s and be done.

Otherwise the 14x8 -10 with guard work would be a go-er.

$220 a wheel is cheap I thought?

i sat my meisters on the rear of my old ke70, they were 15x9-16 with semi slicks. heres a pic.
imo it is too big for a ke70 and looks stupid.
