I cant see what you can get wrong, unless you've got the wrong master.....
Just taking some pics now, will post them up in a few minutes

Does that help in any way? What is the problem your having?

well i have the same master, but for some reason i still have the ae86 proportioning valve, which i believe isnt needed anymore.

so i am going to have to make all new brake lines?

is that what you have done on that setup?

Yeah get rid of that distribution block or block off one of the front ports on the master and use the block. One of the things I have yet to decide to do with my car.

I removed the distribution block and then bent the lines to fit the new master. I did re-use one line from the dist block for the front driver side hard line which I cut down then re-flared.

im thinking of retaining the distribution block and blocking off the second front port on the master cylinder.

the only thing i am worried bout is the internal proportioning valve in the master.......

for what reason do you need to run a r32 booster? (curious)

I was hoping to retain my dist block and gut the prop valve and run an adj one somewhere but I've yet to find out if the two circuits are linked through some failure mechanism. Probably isn't but wanna get it right first time.

There is no reason to run an r32 booster unless your stock one broke and you have one sitting around and can't find a stock one to replace with.

i thought only the r33 (bm44) masters had the built in prop. valve? and not the r32 ones????

so ive always thought you had to run an external prop. valve with the r32 one

SLIDE86,

Get rid of the 'distribution' block and AE86 proportioning valve. You dont need them. The R32 master has the proportioning built in. Using them both will make the brake proportioning worse.
Two of the lines, you can carefully bend to fit, the other one, I just pulled a line of a KE20 corolla I had in the yard and bent it to suit. It wouldn't be hard to find something at a wrecker or something if you need.

How the brakes feel, will also depend on the brakes you have on the front and back. I use the 'Hopper Stopper' kit, 290mm discs with PBR 4 pot calipers on the front, with R31 skyline calipers and rotors on the back, and using the R32 Master. The brakes are awsome, great pedal and braking feel with good proportioning...

It should be fine for the brake setup you are using?

Mitchy, BM44 is from some R32s aswell....

Hope this helps....

I know this is bringing up something a little old but I now have s13 brakes up front and the tarago rear(drums) and have installed the r32 master cylinder without taking the distribution block. Do you know in what way the proportioning will be out?

I did have the rx7 brakes on before the s13 setup but want to put my r32 fronts(4pots) on after I figure out the wheel spacing requirements. Will this still be fine after taking the distribution block out?

R32gtst, R33gtst, S13/14 run BM44 masters from memory, GTR run BM50 i think.

You dont need to use the stock 86 proportion vavle... you can re bend stock lines to use 2 front ports and 1 rear port of the Nissan master.

You can use the Skyline master if you want but you will need to bash the strut tower to get it in.

There is no problems with fitment to the standard AE86 booster and as you can see it doesn't touch the strut tower. By the sounds of things I will have to change my lines around though. The one you can see is the R32 Non ABS as it has 3 ports not 4 which is the ABS model. This is also the BM44 model
