4AGE sounds like its missfiring on high revs

ive recently put a 4age in my ke70 and everything is running smooth apart from a sound at around 6000rpm which sounds like its missfiring but it isnt. the other day it was revving to 8000rpm no problem and it seems like it has its days. could it be the tps? timing or manifold?

has it got fresh plugs in it, that are gapped correctly?

yeah fresh plugs 1.1 gap

im having this exact probalem, one day it'll bounce of limiter all day, then the next, it be a bastard and cut and miss at 6000rpm, for the most part i dont have a problem though

I had the same problem after a few laps on the racetrack. I was advised to use colder plugs And gap it less than 1mm.It happens when the engine is hot..
