Hey guys
I remember reading a thread on here that listed/showed the different styles of tie rod ends and tubes for toyotas.
If anyone can find it and post the link that would be good.
It's 1:25am lol can't find it.
Thing is my tie rods on my ke25 are 3 peice, left hand thread bolt, tie rod tube and right hand thread bolt.
I screwed one of the left hand threaded bolts and conventry fasteners and universal fasteners both can't help wtf...
Picked up some ke30 or ke55 tie rods and tried them instead they are the ones with the two clamps on the tube.
They fitted but ran out of adjustment as they are longer.
So swapped my inner tie rod for ke30/55 ones, they are shorter so allow more thread, but different shape and will hit pitman and idler arm if I go over a bump the groove in them is different...
So yea can't really swap LCA's over as ke25 LCA's are pretty long already so don't know if any others are longer... Don't know length forgot at the moment...
One bolt, one bolt, don't you hate it when ur stuck on small stuff like this.
Will try Toyota in morning see if they still have them, got part number so should be sweet, hopefully they dont charge me $200 for a bolt knowing Toyota.
