1982 excellent condition body xx ke70
Next to no rust. has a 2 spots in entire car.

I am the 3rd owner of this car since new. Purchased from a grandpa. Been ridiculously well looked after. Still have the service history since factory somewhere.

Quick rundown
The car originally cost me $1800 stock
bigport tvis 4agte
NEW custom steampipe Kelway (ADL made) turbo manifold! just spent $700 on it
individual coil packs
brand new head, ported, polished, 3 valve angle grind job (has done less then 50kms on road since installed)
trust manifold, trust td05 turbo (rebuilt all new seals), trust Front Mount Intercooler
Custom Cooler Piping
trust external gate
custom turbo back straight through 3" with oval muffler at rear (stealth)
mictrotech lt10 + hand controller
350mm dish steering wheel (new)
trust gear knob
reco'd spooled t series diff
w58 supra gear box
puk clutch
jdm ae86 8kg coilovers + jdm brakes braided lines
cusco camber tops (new)
buddyparts 40mm rcas (new)
6kg 200mm OCS rear springs (new)
excel G rear shocks (new)
sound deadening removed interior painted hammertone black/ grey (looks mint)
full trim minus carpet (can be supplied to buyer)
vl in/ external fuel pumps, surge set up in boot
techno 14x8 - 11 and 14x7.5 - 4 may or may not come with car pending how much i get for it
majority of bushes replaced, super pro and nolathane
jap strut brace
t3 panhard rod
Brand New 53?mm twin core alloy radiator
JDM te72 quad headlights with gold xxx C badge

no rego, but have the papers here ready to go!

if left out heaps but they are the basics

now the bad.

currently not running. blows smoke as the bottom end needs a quick hone, rings and bearings and then it'll be mint! have also recently discovered the main reason for smoke is that the oil return line to turbo just needs to be straighted up for better flow.

suspesion is 90% complete not much left to do at all

needs a cut and polish

I have lost interest in the car. If I don't get what I'm asking simple. Wont sell it.

heres a link to everything thats been done.

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/1299-Shuv-s-4AGTE-ke71/page3

Price: $7,000 neg but no low ballers or time wasters PLEASE!
I have quiet easily spent well over twice of what I'm asking. I doubt you could build your own 4agte with a w series gear box with a microtech for what I'm asking for the car.

prefer a cash sale, but MAY possibly take an 'x'E7'x' wagon as part payment.

Located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Do NOT make my thread a place of discussion. Serious enquireys only.

sucks how much bad luck you've had with it but no one is buying cars at the moment. Keep it till you can afford to get it running properly then re evaluate whether you want to sell it or not AFTER you've done a skid in it :)

Yea no clue......how bout you head down to your nearest workshop and ask them how much it would cost to do the rings bearings a hone and crank linish and may aswell do pistons while you there.
what $100 by your calculations ???
Not everyone who is interested in cars like this is competens enough to redo piston rings and bearings like you.

Everytime you write something you sound more and more like an idiot, are you an idiot? or just plain ignorant, think ur top #hit because your a mechanic eh, well u obviously arnt a lawer, knowing competitors prices is LEGAL, talking to each other to SET the prices is illegal, a conflict of interest is when you are personally involved with a case or client........i take it u must be intimate with the people in the other workshop then.

Hi there, just trying to help you with sale,You might want to check your oil return line from your turbo has a nice downhill path with no obstructions, especially when you have low mount manifolds.I had my newly rebuilt engine blowing smoke from oil not returning fast enough causing the turbo to leak oil into the dump pipe. When i changed my turbo set up to top mount with large oil return the smoke dissapeared.(i got told it was my rings as well)Hope my experience can help

16th February 2011, 11:43 AM

thanks guys. the manifold is a piece of work! quality > shitty bling.

ill have a sus of the return line. prob contributes a fair bit to the smoke i reckon. rings are tired but acl items are cheap enough. just dont have the time n money to spend on this beast to finish it off!
