Im having issues with me rolla. the Starter motor signal wire is not providing 12V when the key is in start position, have checked it at the wiring loom at the keyswitch and im getting 12V there so i have an issue somewhere in between.

also as soon as i connect the battery, the hazzard lights stay on, cannot for the life of me turn them off (apart from disconnecting the flasher unit) so i have an issue there also.

Diagrams or help would be appreciated

have you checked out the fusebox? check the starter relay also check the contacts on the switch itself and give them a clean.

hey man, ive generally found that when lights start to do funny things its usually somethin to do with there being earths missing, there is a ground wire over near the coil/balist resistor (stock 4k one, drivers side of engine bay) which im pretty sure is an important ground. My hazard lights were making the high beams flash untill i put that wire back to ground!!DC current does crazy funky things when there is grounds missing! As for your starting circuit problem..you might just have a dry joint/crap connection.

have you checked the starter for solenoid operation? get a spare female spade plug and pop it on some 10a or bigger wire and put it on the positive terminal. The starter should do its thing, if not you have either a solenoid or motor problem. If it works i would check the relay for operation. Does the relay work? etc etc dont know what you have tried already

Assuming you're running a relay for the starter motor perhaps your relay isn't earthing, thus not switching.

As for the hazards staying on, if the dash came out maybe the hazard switch became busted and is stuck on... or the wiring for it earthing so it stays on.
