Hey guys i need some opinions on these pulley kits as im most likely going to get one this week.

T3 have got some great parts so i have no doubt in the quality of the pulley itself, there is an additional item that can come with it that i want to question called the Crank Pulley EDIS Trigger Wheel.

To be honest i dont want to spend the money, i just want the pulley but a little research never hurt.
From what i can tell it makes sure the pulley runs true at high RPM to stop belts breaking or maybe pulleys warping etc.
As far as i can see i havent heard of nevo, cusco, hks or whatever having to have one of these so what do you guys think?

Anyone got one of these?
I suppose also i might as well ask if anyone has any reason not to run a T3 Pulley?

The EDIS trigger is for running aftermarket ECUs where you can put a crank angle sensor using that EDIS trigger.

You dont need it.

its worse than not needing it, you can only run your engine in batch fire with it.

Also watch out v-tech- some of T3's stuff is not well thought out and some is rubbish.

Sam: you can run sequential with an EDIS trigger. You just need to know how many revolutions. Pretty much all ECUs these days can count home triggers and advance to the next cylinder in the cycle.

Cam sensor, same as every other 3 sensor engine that Toyota has designed.
