Smallport head on bigport block

problem - none atm

occurs/started when -

personal situation - wanting to buy a head to port and polish and so on. So deciding wether to buy a smallport head or a bigport head.
How does a bigport run with a smallport head?
Power increase over bigport head or does the lower compression even it out?

There's no difference in compression changes between bigport/smallport heads, it's the bottom end that does it.

And you really won't have any performance gains choosing one over the other. I would just use the head you have more accessories for (intake manifold, injectors, etc).
