I think it came off a 2008 STI, but the guy who bought the car had the turbo upgraded before he even took delivery new, probably done about 50km.

td04l comes from 01wrx onwards, not sti. 06 Sti have vf34, vf36, and vf42, depending on what version of sti.

actually I made a mistake they were first used on a MY97
