So Ive got a '79 te72 t18 and my center bearing is KOed.

I got a new one, pt number cb42. This went onto the driveshaft without any issue but wont bolt to the body as the spacing on the mounts is in the wrong spot. Too close together.

Does anybody know the correct part number? or recommend a supplier? or know where I can get one?

Thanks guys.

i remember when i got a new one for my 86 the holes on the centre bearing were also too close together. it covered half the hole on the car on each side if you get what i mean. i just got out my angle grinder and cut the holes out and then used a large washer under the bolt to hold it in. never had a problem with it

I thought about that but wanted the alignment to be factory perfect.
