Car - Kouki AE86

motor - 4AGE

problem - Steering wheel isnt adjustable

question: Are the ADM and JDM steering rack interchangable and are there any differences to them besides the adjustability?

The reason im asking is because i've just bought a seat but it seems to sit abit too high and the steering wheel is touching my knee. never had a problem before cause i was using stock seat.
the mounts on the seats are bride and by the looks of it, its as low as it could be mounted.

Any knowledge would be helpful
Thanks everyone

bride rails are low. its prob the seat that is too high. the bottom cushion on most aftermarket seats are usually quite large. i take it you arent using a bride seat.

yeah the steering columns are interchangable.

they are interchangeable provided you don't have power steering, then there is a difference in the column length.

yep, all good. thanks buddy.
but by the looks of it, the seat is about the same height cushion-wise to a bride seat. il modify the rail to get it to bolt down first and figure whats needed then
