View Full Version : AE86 Header welded on fittings

Car - AE86

motor - 4age

use - happiness

problem - question not a problem

occurs/started when - when I look at the pictures

personal situation (if applicable)- I've been looking at the pics of headers from the USA and i'm wondering what the fittings on top of the headers are for? big hole on rear most pipe from block and the four other weld ons...what are they all for?

possibly individual lambda sensors for each cylinder?

Oxygen sensor in the big hole, and the others look like they're for the standard heat shield.

nah the O2 sensor is on the second pipe
I'm talking about the pipe coming straight from the fourth cylinder

apparently the big hole is for EGR some emissions thing for US cars.......
and apparently the product is pretty rubbish......
