Long Description \/

I am sad to have to do this but I have no choice...
This used to be my car which I sold to my boss for his daughter, but she wanted a girl car which she got for her 18th... so this has been pretty much un used for the last year, my boss has decided to sell it to pay for light fixtures for his new house, I was going to buy it back off him and have it as a second (third) car, but I have since had a motorcycle accident and need money to repair my bike, he has tasked me to sell it for him as if it were my own car.

Toyota Corolla GTi
White in colour, September 1991 build, Registered till 12-March 2011.

History:
245k’s on the clock, but it has had a caring owner since new, as I bought it off a middle aged enthusiast who purchased it from his Brother who bought it brand new in WA, I was informed when I bought it that it had been serviced by Toyota up to 140 thousand k’s (I might have the service book somewhere to prove this) at which point it was sold to the enthusiast brother who did most of the servicing himself, every 8 thousand k’s with quality oils and filters I was told, I purchased the car with about 185 thousand k’s as the seller had a growing family and needed a family car, I have serviced the car every 6 to 8 thousand k’s using Royal purple or Motul 300v oils and Drift oil filters (look them up, rated best filtration and flow of all the top brands) I sold the car as I needed a car capable of towing.

Body:
The body is Standard and very clean! Has a few scratches and stone chips, it stands currently very dirty as the boss had it parked under a pine tree for 3 months and it never moved, if I have time I may get the young kid to wash it.

Stereo:
Kenwood Head Unit
JL Audio 6x9’s in the rear parcel tray
Clarion 3 way 6” in the front doors
Orion Cobalt 500.1 Amp powering the rear speakers with the option to run a Sub (as I removed the sub before I sold the car)
It actually pumps without the sub and offers a clearer sound as it’s not drowned out with unnecessary base.

Modifications:
Engine –
Genie Extractors, K&N air Filter, Backyard cold air induction (tucked under the bar so it’s not visible), 5.0mm leads, Iridium spark plugs.
Transaxle –
I replaced the box with a C56 out of a AE101 import as it has slightly lower ratio’s in 2nd and 3rd
Suspension –
KYB Excel G shock absorbers combined with Custom made K-Mac Progressive rate springs, Nolathane Camber kit, Whiteline adjustable rear Sway bar, and Urethane bushes scattered throughout the car.
Wheels –
Some random light weight ROH 5 spoke wheels in white to match the car, I had Yokohama A drives all round when I sold it, but for some reason it has Maxxis tires on 3 and an A Drive on 1, no one can explain why this has happened, but they’re still decant tires with 80% tread left.

Pro’s
Comes with a brand new Century battery, Momo Gear knob and matching gear boot cover, it’s pretty quick for a virtually stock 4AGE smallport, quicker than most on the road anyway, It handles like it’s on rails! One of the best handling front wheel drive cars I’ve been in and I’ve been in some heavily modified Honda’s, runs great! Cheap to run, always run on BP Ultimate or V Power (Optimax before that), looks like new with a clean, if I can find them I have most of the receipts for the work carried out on the car, has an alarm/immobiliser, but I took the siren out when I bought the car as it sounded sick and sometimes went off if the battery voltage dropped too low (happened often when I first got the car)
Con’s
The engine bay could use a clean and it has a tiny tiny leak from the distributor, in the last 2 years it’s managed to cover an area about the size of an A5 bit of paper, fan belts could probably be replaced as it squeals sometimes, Air con works but probably needs to be re-gassed as it’s not as cold as it used to be, some of the interior plastics have seen better days although the dash still looks great, some loose plastics in the boot, and a rattle, probably just has a clip floating around causing both.

Disclaimer:
I’ve not owned this car for nearly 2 years now and as we know things can change, so this description may not be entirely accurate (but it should be 100% accurate) I encourage anyone interested to come and have a look at it for themselves before making any decisions.

Extra’s:
If you’re interested I can offer a ported, polished & decked head as I still have it sitting around in my shed from when I planned to work the engine, it will be an extra $500 + $100 with bolt kit and VRS kit.

Price and condition:
Car is sold as is, would need very little for RWC, maybe nothing at all!
Price is $3800 (not including head)

Contact Deatils:
Please contact myself on 0422 634 326, Car can be viewed during the day anytime at Monbulk (it’s not as far as you think) you will be dealing with me and not the actual owner of the car, but I can introduce you if you are serious about buying, he is very busy most of the time but it can be organised.

Thank you for reading
Brendan

Pics:
Please not that these are the old wheels, not the ones described above
