I've been living about an hour away from this place for the past twelve months, but haven't been bothered to search for it until last sunday.
Figured it might be of interest to AE86 guys.

If you haven't figured it out, it's the parking area from the Initial D anime series. Somewhat fittingly, a panda trueno drove past whilst we were parked taking pictures!
The real name of the mountain pass is Haruna. In the Anime, the mountain is called Akina. The first 'Haru' is changed to 'Aki'. Haru meaning spring and Aki meaning Autumn in Japanese.
