Basically i bought a 1984 ke70 slanty off my good mate just shy of 2 months ago. Additionally, i also bought a donor ke70 with a 4age conversion in it. My plan was to carry out the 4age conversion and build up a nice daily/drifter. However, my plans for the year have taken a drastic turn and I will be returning back to uni this year. As such, i will be catching the train to the city practically every day and so 1. I wont be able to enjoy the car as much as I had planned and 2. I dont wanna leave a car like this parked at the station all day.

I have decided to put BOTH ke70's on sale since there may be a bit more interest if you were to say transfer the rego with the 4kc in it still & then complete the conversion yourself. If no interest is shown, I will continue completing the conversion and sell it as a 4age ke70.

- motor ae92sx had 228xxxkms on it the motor and had been first completely rebuilt at 164xxxkms
- when taken out of the ae92, the head was overhauled before it went back on the block. It was machined and checked for hardness, before it had a VRS kit run through it, new head bolts, new timing belt kit, new water pump, and sump resealed. It has only been run since for less than a few minutes.
- Brand new Exedy HD clutch and freshly machined flywheel, never been used
- Brand new 2 1/4 press bent exhaust with 4-2-1 extractors, used only we got the engine running.
- Loom has been correctly wired as per factory wiring diagram. ALL connections soldered and crimped, all plugs running to the right places. All relays functioning properly. Permanent power, Ignition power and Earth circuits all checked. Is pretty much a plug and play loom.
- Will have a radiator from an Excel X2. Fins in immaculate condition. has Twin thermos and original top mounts included. Consensus around the net is that the radiator will keep the 4age cool even without ever needing the fans. However, would be a nice addition for track days.
- AE82 4AC thermostat included w/ all needed hoses/clamps to complete water-cooling system
- Fuel setup currently comprises of a Brand New VL Fuel Pump running off the original ke70 fuel tank. What will be included is a genuine ae86 JDM fuel tank. The tank has internal baffles, working in-tank pump and working sender. Rare item, cost me an arm and leg to get it sent and definately beats the average surge tank/in-boot setup.

THE BAD POINTS
------
- Noticed yesterday that timing belt was showing a bit of slack running down to the crankshaft. i pulled the bottom timing cover off to inspect and noticed that theres a crack on the oilpump housing where the timing belt tensioner sits. I have no idea how it happened but i suspect that it was already cracked to begin with. Nevertheless the engine has been started and runs mint. Will need a new oil pump which I will supply genuine from toyota. I was planning to do this myself, but its something more easily done when the engines out than when it's in. This is the main reason for the cheap price.
- Rust as per usual. Common areas that need attention:
1. small tiny rust hole in the boot
2. some under drivers side a-pillar
3. some underneath windshield
Apart from that the body is in pretty good condition, Car is still in factory paint and has clear in most places

- when previous owner owned the car, it was side-swiped while parked. Only a tiny ding running across the drivers door & front right quarter. front right quarter is in primer (from previous previous owner lol) and needs a bog up/replacement. Mint replacement drivers door on the donor ke though.

Apart from that, everything is pretty sweet...this is purely a genuine sale and as much as i'd love to keep it..i cant. All that will be needed to do to finish it is to get all the rust sorted out and to give it a nice lick of paint.

I'm located in VIC, South East suburbs.

Yes, I am making a substantial loss..but sh*t happens and sometimes plans need to change. This will be an awesome project to complete for someone with the ability, time and money.

PRICE: 3500 ONO

price is for BOTH the ke70's AS IS.. Opinions welcome but the price I think is very fair. Getting a registered ke70 in worse condition and sourcing all the 4age conversion parts alone will cost more than what I'm asking. What you get is a FRESH 4AGE, coilovers, upgraded brakes and a proper fuel setup..ALL ready to drift.

No swaps unless its an ae92sx.

I kindly ask anyone who's interested to be reasonable and refrain from any kind of low-balling, time-wasting or joyriding. If you're not already looking for a ke70, know what you're looking for, and know what you're in for..and more importantly ACTUALLY HAVE MONEY stay away from this thread.

WILL HAVE PICS TOMORROW

Kind Regards,
Andrew
