1983 Toyota Sprinter AE86
Up for sale is my ADM 1983 Toyota Sprinter AE86. Mechanically great overall condition and drives well, but would need some bodywork and a new paint job to get her looking good again. Had plans to get her there but unfortunately just haven’t found the time or funds. I have provided a list of the things that have been done to the car below. All new bits put in during the 4AGE install it’s a little long but at least you get an overview of the things that have been looked into. The car has been regularly serviced every 5000km always granny driven and run only on 98 RON fuel. Has done 25,000km since the JDM 4AGE conversion over a span of over 2 years. The chassis has done the hard yards though clocking in at 430,000km (hence the old 4AC had to go).

ENGINE
> JDM 4AGE Big Port Conversion (Engine with 124,000 Genuine Km when put in from a Levin Half cut – now at 149,000Km)
> Full JDM wiring loom swap
> JDM Washer & Over Flow bottles
> HKS pod filter
> AC compressor & lines included (Didn’t get around to fitting them)
> A little oil sweat coming form the crank seal, not enough to actually have to top up oil between 5K services.

> Fuel system conversion by Toyospares. New fuel pump, lines and filter.
> New 2/4” cat back exhaust system with S/S high flow cat
> New timing belt and tensioner
> New cam cover seals
> New platinum plugs (recently replaced)
> Reconditioned starter motor
> Reconditioned alternator & new belt
> New Battery
> New dizzy cap, seal and ignitor lead (recently replaced)
DRIVELINE
> JDM T50 Gear Box (Speedo currently out by 10% due to the ADM speedo & JDM T50 combo. Will provide the correct gear box speedo cable worm gear to sort this out)
> Stock S series diff

> New Excedy clutch with new bearings
> Machined TRD lightened fly wheel
> New Clutch slave and master cylinder
SUSPENSION / BRAKES / WHEELS
> 16X7” Performance Alloys (Nothing fancy but low offset)
NEW ITEMS FOR 4AGE CONVERSION
> New KYB Excel-G shock absorbers all around
> New White Line lowered springs
> At least 50% of all bushes replaced with Polyurethane Bushes (Mix of Super Pro & Nolathane Bushes)
> JDM Vented Disk Brakes with rebuilt callipers & machined discs
> New front brake pads
> New brake lines
> Have spare new set of drum shoes which will be included
> New wheel bearings all around
> New tyres all around
EXTERIOR
> Green respray which could do with a do over – passable but does have a number of pain chips and rust in the usual places
> Rust located on the top of the windscreen (driver side) was rust treated when new windscreen went in. Some rust on the rear wheel arches, passenger side brake light, a couple of bubbles on the hatch and under the doors. Regularly sprayed rust preventative on all rust spots.
> Kouki Levin headlights, park light and fog lights (ok condition passenger side headlight has a pin hole crack on the glass and the grille has a crack on the passenger side fog light – all in working condition with factory JDM fog and parker switches)
INTERIOR
> ADM spec interior, a couple of tears on the drivers side seat vinyl but nothing major. Door cards are in ok condition with a few imperfections here and there.
> JDM black dash (3 cracks ☹), glove box and tacho shroud with all JDM switches.
> Full JDM dash wiring loom swap
> JDM gear lever console & Gear Boot
> Nardi Steering wheel in great condition
> TRD gear knob
> Clarion MP3 player
> Pioneer speakers at the front and Kenwoods in the back
