will after market senders like tridon work with the stock dash gauge?

hey I better correct myself, thats for the ecu the dash temp is 3/8" NPT, and be extemely careful how much you wind the tap in, about 1/3 of the length is right.

timbo, for some reason I know there is a company that makes a replacement temp sender to suit corolla. I can go look up what company makes it next time I'm buying whatever car stuff.

thanks blokes. just to clarify i'm talking about the one from the top water outlet on the head. i have seen tridon replacements but wondered whether they would work (same calibration) as we all know the difficulties replacing an oil pressure sender!
