Hi guys,
As title says I have 2 sets of 2 brackets for sale which allow you to mount MR20 SW20 calipers and MR2 SW20 280mm rotors on your standard AE86 front struts and bearing carrier. Brackets are CNC machined from 6061 T6 grade aluminium.
I have this set-up on my car as well and it was designed with the thought of using toyota parts only which can be sourced at a reasonable price! The set-up greatly improves braking!
With these brackets the following other parts are needed:
- Bolts (high tensile ones recommended)
- MR2 SW20 brake calipers 90-92 model.
- MR2 SW20 Ventilated rear rotors 280mm (have to be redrilled for 4x114,3PCD and inner lip machined to clear axle hub)
- Optional: Braided lines
- Optional: Mitsubishi Starion Brake Master Cylinder (1") near bolt in on the AE86 only the front line has to be adapted.
NOTE: there are 2 different pads available for the SW20 callipers as they changed the calliper between the years of 1990-1992 (DP2936) and 1992-2000 (DP2995). I'm using the DP2936.
I was looking for $220,- per set.
Brackets are located in Perth but can be posted at buyers expense.
