Jump on the bandwagon mate, so many mechanics looking for decent jobs. I'm not a mechanic personally but I know a few, it's hard to find a sparky apprenticeship at the moment that's for sure!

I wouldn't mind a weekend retail job again

working sundays in retail gets me $270 after tax, sure is a good deal.

try bunnings they seem to hire a lot of the time, work is easy if you have some sort of product knowledge and pay is good, plus you can get out of hours shifts at night ect so you still have your days to do stuff.

Yep 100% on Bunnings. I have a few mates that work there and really enjoy it, most people seem polite and need your help...

My old mans starting up a new workshop in the Eastern suburbs (Bayswater), looking for mechanics/diesel mechanics/fitters of some experience, ie can be first year, second year, qualified etc. Working on all sorts of machinery including trucks, ashphalt pavers, skidsteers, excavators etc. Can be just a regular vehicle mechanic looking to get into some heavier stuff and possibly get a diesel mechanic qualification. If you get the job I can assure you the pay is good, my old man will give anyone a trial if they ring him up and say they're keen! He's not a resume type of bloke.

Send me a PM and I'll give you an E-mail address and phone number.

I'm a recently qualified mechanic, looking for anything mechanical/hands on in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Anyone know of anything even vaguely related? Hopefully full-time but part-time and casual can work too.

you must be patient, i hate working on my subaru. ever changed a inlet pipe on a 99 forester gt? almost made me cry

Oh yeah, they all split because the turbo's always seem to leak oil in the gt's. Later models are even more fun to do, with all the extra pollution bs. Injectors on later wrx's are a nightmare.

Hey, just thought i should expand my search for a job. I'm a student photographer starting a bachelor over in melbourne early next year and have been shooting for a few years now. If anyone knows of or has any part time work as a photographer or in a camera store around melbourne, i'd be greatly interested. You can email me at harry.toumbos@hotmail.com
