Identify Diff with pics

[DR86FT]

Hey my brother inlaw has had this diff for a while and we r wondering what it is

im sure someone has seen one of these before

its got a 4.3 LSD in it stock looking
23 spling axles
10 bolt centre but 1 bolt is stepped up
disc to disc. leaf spring mounts
discs r solid 230mm

Edit: 1280mm wide also

I am guessing it was a stock AE86 disc rear end, and then someone changed the mounts for leaf spring to fit in a KE30 or similar. This used to be common practice years ago.

its 1280 mm wide
what else can i look at?

I can't remember the width. But all those photos look AE86 to me. (Or TE71 which use the exact same diff). The wide bearing on the axle is the main feature, which isn't like any other car from memory.

by ae86 do you mean jdm t series?
