AE101 4agze Compression test results

i just did a comp test on my GZE an came up with near 170psi across all four which is pretty good i believe, i want to know the toyota factory results to compare if the motor has had some work done to it, or if its low in compression.

AFAIK 140-150 is fairly standard

170-180 for a smallport gze

bigport gze = MR2 = kinda AIDS

smallport gze 1 = ae92 = pretty good, lower comp 8.0:1

smallport gze 2 = ae101 = awesome win, higher comp 8.9:1

aw11 is bigport with dizzy
ae92 is a smallport CAS
ae101 is also a samllport with high CR then ae92 (also CAS)

Hmmm, maybe not. There was a thread on toymods saying a bunch of guys took apart smallports and found only some to have oil squirters but I can't find it now. : (

Hmmm, maybe not. There was a thread on toymods saying a bunch of guys took apart smallports and found only some to have oil squirters but I can't find it now. : (

the earlier 100kw smallports we got came in the twin cam SECA's, so they should be without oil squirters.
the AE92/3 SX/GTi corolla's and seca's all should have oil squirters as they were required for hologation for racing in group A

but because toyota went to the stronger block midway through the bigports lifespan its hard to know if your smallport was a late or early version, BUT from what i have seen you can retro fit oil squirters in the earlier blocks. apparently they have the holes/ports for them but were never fitted.
