Yo,

Just fitted new rotors and pads. Everything seems sweet, but i have this funny feeling that the rear brakes have a bit of handbrake tension (with the handbrake completely off) - i can kinda hear a bit of brake noise driving along too.

Anywho. The tension of the handbrake cable at the handbrake seems pretty good (not too tight, not too loose), so is there an adjustment point at the calipers too? Or at least something i should be fiddling with? Or are they 'self adjusting' and will eventually burn down the pads to the required thickness?

Cheers and shiz,
Seamus

Bro, did you did wind the pistons in when you put new pads on, right? Then after winding it in, applying the brakes "sets" the disc to pad clearance. Bottom of http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/brake04.pdf

The only thing I can think of is slackening the handbrake cable inside the car. but not so loose. You probably have it right anyway.
