Hi there guys. I have done 95% of the wiring for my conversion. I'm using a std ae86 ecu & engine loom .

I'm wiring the fuel pump relay. I've worked out how to wire a relay to prime engine & run while engine is running.

What i need to know is the polarity of the "Fc" output. Negative or positive trigger.

Any help would be great.

This is a pic of how I will wire the relay.

I've just had a further think about wiring like this. It will not be correct ,as if the engine stopped while the ignition is on the relay would disengage & power would keep feeding the pump from 87a. I will wire 87a to the starter trigger wire.

See attachment: Car will run but the fuel pump will be slow to come on as the starter has to move the crank and cam before the fuel pump starts pumping.

The factory way has another relay with the start wire acting as a positive trigger with the power "in'' and "out" the same as the first relay.
