Hi,
Need new globes for rego so i thought i would give some fancy ones ago.
Can anyone tell me what type of globes these are so i can make a purchase? The ones giving off the blue tinge in the housing and also the amber ones the datsun has.

rego places hate blue tinged head lights, and yellow fog lights are illegal if placed in the headlight section as far as i know.
just buy some cheap $5 globes for rego, and get the others afterwards if you so desire. but they are kinda crap. both for cops, and light dissipation.
if you're genuinely interested in getting better lights, and you have a ke70 with quads (just assuming here); do what I did and buy some sealed beam highs (110w 'aircraft landing lights') and some h4 retrofits for the outers. then run standard colour (not gay purple, blue, green etc) HID's and you will be able to see a mile.
trust me. it works.

Todd: Good point about getting standards for rego. Where abouts do you source the landing lights and how much are they?
lolwat: I can source that at supercheap auto / repco can't i? ( thats exactly what i'm after look blue in the housing but still shine the white light )
