Hey everyone.

I'm about to embark on upgrading my rear brakes on my KE70 but i'm not sure what to run. I'll be making my own brackets etc on my F series diff so fabrication isnt a problem, I'm just unsure about what would be a good match for my RX7 fronts? The only limitations really is they have to fit under my 14x8 hurricanes. handbrake isnt required as I have a hydraulic one going in soon. I was thinking maybe R32 calipers and S13 discs? I have a Pajero master cylinder aswell if this is any help.

Thanks, Dillon

i can provide you with a bracket to mount R32/33 etc rear calipers on 296mm rotors , but they wont fit under 14's

Thanks, but they have to fit under 14's this is pretty much my only limitation. do you know if it completely fouls on 14's or if its just scraping? I'd love a vented rotor on the rear, 32 calipers and rotors would be awesome

If you're fabricating your own brackets, wouldn't the best suited match for rx7 front brakes be...

would really rather a 2 piston caliper. might be able to run these discs and a 32 caliper?? i just thought someone here may have done this already. seems not.

dual pot on the back of a ke jsut seems to be a waste (overpowered braking) if you want a mad hydro setup and that run dual calipers (single pot)

Cant do twin calipers, i've already done my hydro handbrake and its inline not a seperate cylinder and i'm not changing it. if theres too much brake force on the rear cant i just use a wilwood brake bias adjuster to even it out? and if i have the bias adjuster before the hydro then i'd have a wicked handbrake with the 32 calipers yeah?

Yes. Putting dual pots on the back would give you unbalanced brakes. I thought you wanted something to match the fronts?

man , you dont need twin pots to lock them up, you will lock it up everytime with something small,(fit 14's)

well i sorta thought 4 piston front with 2 piston rear would be a good balance. guess i'll give the rx7 rotors and calipers a shot. cheers!
