I just need to buy an adaptor for my gauge

I need to know the thread pitch and size for the sensor that is in the water neck on the FRONT of the engine, not the rear.

My thread taps arent the correct size........:cries:

dash temp? 3/8" BSP NPT, shit of a thing to tap. From my experience you only need to wind the tap in one third of the depth with a 14.5mm hole. I can do it for you if you like just throw me $10 and post and I am happy

From memory the aftermarket temp sensors are 3/8" NPT tapered thread.
The Toyota temp sensors are 3/8" BSP tapered thread. Both LOOK the same, small difference.

(I could have this backwards)

yes backwards, only one extra thread per inch
