This is probably something that only a handful of people on here will ever do, let alone care about. But i was wondering if anyone had come across an off the shelf solution for a dual master pedal box on the AE86?

I know GRP4 make one, it looks like this:

Supposedly its a bolt in solution.... but its not. Requires a big chunk to be cut out of the firewall and a plate welded in its spot. Not kosher.

According to this thread on DriftWorks: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/technical/35232-ae86-pedal-box-questions.html RallyDesign used to make one a number of years ago. Bill Sherwood has one in his car:

Sadly they dont seem to make or stock it anymore.

Anyone else seen some around? Before i go out and just replicate the RallyDesign one that is...

Some very $erious people like to use a total floor mounted setup, like from Tilton.

I like the RallyDesign one above using the original brake pedal. This is actualy a TRD copy, pedalbox part # 55106-AE801, and pedal #47101-AE801. The numbers mean nothing now, but I'm looking at the picture in the Group A section of our bibles.

For the AE86 I would prefer individual bottles, rather than the big remote bottle in your top picture.

(Personaly I have the stock master with stock booster, but I'm soft. + Tilton rear bias adjuster)

For improved production you have to use a pedalbox that is within a certain distance radially of the original pedal, or we'd all be using floor mount ones

Seems that the Rallydesign/TRD copy one requires the use of a different clutch pedal. 31301-AE801 which goes to the left of the steering column instead of the right.

See part #3 there. Time to go hunting for a pedal i can use.

That clutch pedal would come close to being a TE72 one.

Yeah, thinking TE72 is high on the list of contestants... now to try and find one.

I can take some measurements and photos of my te72 pedal if you want?

Yeah, that would be brilliant.
