like the topic says i have an ma61 front strut with shocks, springs and disc. what shall i do with it??

should i dump the whole thing in?? or should i just cut off the bottom end for brakes and weld it onto 86 strut??(dodgy)

also, what exactly needs to be modified to fit the whole thing on?? the previous owner had ma61 struts converted to coilovers fitted on. but im thinking the current state of ma61 springs are too big in diameter to fit on sprinter..

anyone here got ma61 front suspension on their sprinter?? i dont want to pull my front strut off and try to fit it now as i just did my alignment 2 weeks ago

post a pic and I will tell you. As for the struts they are a no goer for a direct fit into an ae-86 the angle of the axle is all wrong.

well seeing the topic is about me-61 struts and you are unsure about a "rectangular thing" don't you think theres an above average chance that that's a the pic I might of been talking about?

rectangular thing is on the rear and is a whole different issue. the rear is 86 struts. what i want to know is what to do with front ma61 struts. i have 86 ones on car and a spare ma61 strut spring with brakes. just wondering what i can do with it

Buy XT130 strut legs, throw away the disc and calpier arrangement, bolt the MA61 disc/hub and calipers on, fit to your car. Make sure you regrease the wheel bearings. XT130 struts are a direct bolt up to the AE86 steering arms.
Cheers

XT130 corona
I believe MA, RA and SA are all the same. I have the exact setup described only I used SA discs and calipers. Have got MS65 5 stud front hubs ready to go when I do the next upgrade.
