Well in under a week i will finally be getting my AE86!... should have had it last sunday but yeah, thats a diff story.

Anyways, the car isnt engineered at the moment, as all it needs is better brakes fitted at the front.

I will be getting RX7 S5 brakes/calipers with the car and was wondering where i can get these fitted and what a rough price ill be looking at?

Im located in Sydney (Near Campbelltown)

Thanks guys http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The most expensive things are the brackets for the calipers, i've seen these anywhere between $500 to $1000 depending on quality, plus calipers, rebuild kits, pads, brake lines, bigger brake master and brake bias controller.

Do you have to go RX7, would a RA60 celica upgrade be suficiant?

um you use JDM calipers hey? so wants the point of RA60 brakes exactly? lol , if you had the JDM caliper that solves all your problems just go buy a new JDM disc from any brake place and bang there is your upgrade, no Ra60 crap involved at all.

RA60 discs wont fit on AE86 = too big, Ra60 calipers wont bolt straight on!!

BUT you can get the RA60 caliper(20ea) redrilled to bolt onto sprinter bracket and then use JDM discs, new for about $100ea, but you will have to run 14" wheels or bigger 13's wont fit anymore.
