Hey guys im a fairly new member on the site and to the whole sprinter thing i have loved them for ages and jus bought one last weekend http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif it will be used as an everydayer and as i get the funds it will be gettin set up for drift, ive been readin an absolute shitload about sprinters an stuff lately but one question that has been botherin me is the 'T' series diff, i take it that its out of a later model sprinter or a JDM sprinter or both, can any1 explain this to me, haha i prob sound dumb, not that im smart tho... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

Free plug:


'S" = 8 Bolts
'T' = 10 bolts

ahk kool thanks man so the T series is 10 bult huh, and then with the T18 and the JDM T series the only difference is the brake setup huh, so pretty much i should just buy a T18 rear end then instead of a JDM T series unless i want disk brakes. if anyone else has any other info i'd be thankfull, tho i think its pretty much covered so thanks loki boyracer http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Only thing to look for with the T18 rears is some have sway bar mounts and some dont. Its not hard to weld them on if you dont have them though.

Also RA40 diff works, but needs more modifying, as its not a straight "bolt up" fit.

And dont forget that when you swap the S series for a T series, you need a shorter tailshaft (or get one shortened)
