i think this would be a step in the wrong direction... hard to find parts for, big 8 valver, timing chain, hard to get ahold of, need to make engine mounts etc.. and for what?? your not gaining anything over a 88kw 4AGE....

Na mate had one laying around.

Had a quick look at them. Same kw and hp as 4age if I remeber only deference being wieght, valves and a few other things.

It was just basically an idea for the in the mean time while I sort out all the hiccups and parts with the other conversion.

No motors left to put in now. Have killed them all. So my engine bay looks pretty empty and I miss driving my 86 http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif

That was just laying around so it was an idea. Now I will have to get my ass into gear by picking up a new motor, then hurry up and put it in before the next cruise. The other conversion is no where near ready yet.

Ummmmmmmmmm and only 18 days to do it in.

According to the Levin/Trueno Memorial, the 2T-GEU was replaced by the 4AGE, I guess it would be the same as having a JZA80 and putting in a 5ME/7MGE/1GGTE.

Oh and the 2T-GEU from anywhere between TE27 and TE71 had 115ps @ 6000rpm and 15.0kg/mm @ 4800rpm torque.

The 4AGE had 130ps @ 6600rpm and 15.2kg/mm @ 5200rpm
