I read that you can fill oil shocks with diff oil to make them almost as stiff as coilovers. The current shocks I have in my ae86 seem to be stock (i.e. dead) oil shocks but I couldn't see any obvious way to flush oil out and refill it. I spoke to a friend and he thought it should be a sealed unit but we didn't take the shock apart in anyway to see. Can anyone confirm this is true and help me with details?

The seals as in the seals on the shock itself? Anyone got a spare pair of front shocks they can donate to me for me to do this on? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

I'm in Adelaide unfortunately.. but they are oil shocks too? If I can't find a set down here soon are you willing to ship them if I cover the cost with a bit extra for your trouble?
