Im looking to do a reasonably easy and cheap (no adapter plates) brake upgrade to my ae86. I've read that you can re-tap ra60 calipers to fit and use jdm discs. I've searched but can only find info on this that involves swapping to the ra60 struts which I dont want to do.

Can the calipers be re-tapped to bolt straight onto the ae86?
Are the fittings the same as standard ae86 brakes?
Anything else I should know?

Thanks. Sorry if this has been covered but I can't find it.

I'm about to do this conversion myself, all you need to buy is the caliper, while its out, buy a caliper rebuild kit, some decent pads and slotted rottors.
The brake lines fit up ok, but yes you have to re-tap the holes, off the top of my head they are M10X1.5 (thread sizeXpitch) but I haven't had time to have a proper play yet, apparently you have to machine something off, but thats as much as I know.
