Hey guys, i got a n2 wings and am having trouble thinking of how to mount it, i was told to use rivets but i reckon it looks messy, so i was wondering can i use some sought of liquid adhesive, silastc etc?.
How do you guys do it? i just want a clean way of doing it without screws exposed.

Because the fibregalss isnt really thick how do u counter sink the rivets? Would you like drill it half through and rivet? and is there supposed to be a gap at the rear of the spoiler where it meets the glass?. Does water supposed to be able to run underneath or do you have to seal it off?.

well mine is just rivited quite roughly but it doesnt bother me. normally u get a rubber gasket type thing same as u see on group c flair kits etc. if u want a really smooth finish y not fiberglass it on

the only way you are going to get a smooth finish for a n2 wing is going to be to mold it on to hatch with fibre glass.

Near finished the wing on my sprinter,
1. how i did it was use no nail stuff shelley ( not recommend as some of it still hasnt dried, so use something else http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif )
2.Quick rivels to hold it down,
3.Fibreglass bog
4. Regular bog
5. Angle grinded the whole thing http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif
