Hey,

Anyone know of a after market manifold available to fit a pair of side draft webbers on to a 4A-GE head??

The carbs in question are two 45DCOE's.

After pricing a custom quad throttle set up ($2000 http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif ), then a black top setup($500), I have decide to just use the webbers that I have sitting around.

Its seems like a good idea on paper, cheap, can run some nice aftermarket cams without needing to spent money on an aftermarket engine management system.

The only prob is the manifold, I make a custom one at a cost, but that sort of defeats the purpose of doing it in the cheap http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Any help would be awesome,
Justin.

Finding a manifold is easy... Redline do them as well as EFI Hardware (http://www.efihardware.com), the hardest part is making the linkages.

I would imagine Redline or Lynx would make a manifold, try your local speedshop.

Redline makes the manifolds for both big and small port 4ag engines, and also make the linkage kit to suit.

Any Auto One/Repco/Autobarn should be able to get it for you. Unless they're retards.

Thanks for the all the replys guys, I have sorced a redline one through one of my suppliers.

The next step is to choose a suitable set of cams. Any one know of localy available cams for the 4A-GE? I know TODA, TRD, CROWER make them. But I was hoping for a cheaper/readily avalilable option, ie crow cams, crane cams, wade cams, sure cams??

Anyone bought some 4A-GE cams localy before?
