what timing belt can i get for the 20v 4age in australia?? its not the same as the 16v ones im guessing?

Best chance you will have is to take the cam belt cover off and get the part no off it. I can't remember the number of it at the moment

The belt construction is different and the blacktop has 1 less tooth.

Going by the computers at work it should be T081 (111 X 20) which retails for $39.99 from Gates Timing Belt

or just ask for a timing belt to suit a Lada Samara

aahh thanks guys.

was suppose to startup the engine in the car yesterday just to reliase when i was filling water that i didnt bolt tight my waterpump. flooded my garage http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/angry.gif

there should be a few kicking around. Did you want to make it for a RWD install though?

I used a 4ac one with shaved blades on the back of the 20V housing, see the bottom link in my sig for pics. I beleive these are still available brand new from parts stores.

4age 16v isnt the right one though there different
