i dont seem to have that problem with the bolts though. ae71neo the picture that you have there has long ass bolts coming through and hitting the upper hat.

the t3 camber tops with the t3 upperhat system dont fowl on anything. so i still need the spacer

Oh well if you have that upper hat system, i dont think you need a spacer..

Has anyone use the T3 upper hat system with cusco tops? It still looks like its going to hit the screws so i will still need spacers...

^^ dont worry about it i dont really know how to explane that. but really i just want to know if i need a spacer or not.

maybe i have no idea what im on about cuz im smoking crack.

on second thought the hole camner thingy. if i put it all on the schock and spring and that i wound have seen how it really works and i wouldnt have made myself look like a fool. oh well shit happenes.

i dont pretend to know much about cars so shit happens.

but still do i need a spacer???

That black ball, is that part of the cambertop?

Any bearing shop should have spacers.

Im using a AE86 strut.

That black thing is the 4mm spacer + shadow http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif And yeah it came with the tops.

Anymore info on this raised upper hat from noltec?

I've searched the website and the full catalogue and no mention of it..

by that black thing i mean that black semiphere thing, that's part of the washers?

hmm... did you just go down to a bearing shop and they flipped out what you needed?

Maybe this might show it a bit better?

.wolfwood

yes that does show it a bit better. on closer inspection i dont think im going to have a problem. the t3 camber tops dont have any nuts sticking out the bottom that hit on the spring hat so i shold be fine

Why don't you email Gabe and ask him. Always very helpful and sometimes on the forum.

hi all,
Has anyone used T3 cambertops together with GAB adjustable shocks? Were there any complications or extra parts needed? ie. this spacer or nut that i've been reading about?

As the pics don't work I'm guessing this threads question relates to the needle bearing arrangment on the upperhat on T3 front coilovers and the washer/spacer that these run on between the camber-top and strut???

i have machined spacers now, that work much better than the t3 items
