Can i get blue slip??

hey all,

The front metal bar on the 86 got hit, so far im thinking of replacing it with a thick metal bar i got from the steel mill.

Just wondering if i can get this pass blue slip in NSW?

Details: 7cm x 7cm steel bar and weights 5kgs http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif and 2mm thick.

Im assuming your talking about the bumper reinforcement that hides behind the plastic bumper? If so I think you would be fairly unlucky for the person doing the blue slip to be that thorough.

That said I can't see how having a big steel bar behind your bumper is different to replacing it with one (i.e a bullbar)
